Andrea did her Post-Graduate Intensive Care Nursing training at the Gold Coast Hospital before heading to the United Kingdom for 2 years working in multiple ICU’s throughout London as an Agency RN. On her return to Australia she decided to defect to “the other-side” and has made Emergency her career.
She has a Graduate Diploma in Critical Care and Master’s Degree in Advanced Nursing Practice (Critical Care).

Penny has been working in Emergency Nursing since 1996.
Penny has attended various simulation courses and is involved with many facets of clinical education such as ALS, DETECT and FLEC accreditation.  She has a particular interest in simulation training and inter-professional learning.

Tomas Ratoni is currently a paediatric clinical nurse consultant in the northern sector of NCAHS. He has a background primarily in paediatric critical care and paediatric and neonatal retrieval medicine. More recently he has discovered a taste for general paediatrics. He has a passion for teaching and is an instructor for APLS (Australia).
